The SPEEDZONE ONE Length hybrid is designed at 7-iron length (37.50”) to deliver one repeatable set up and swing for more consistency. A lower and deeper CG design makes it the perfect substitute for ONE Length long irons, if you’re seeking easier launch and more distance to gap your set properly.

Club can do everything

This is an excellent concept and execution by Cobra. I had an offbrand one length hybrid that I loved and I compared it to this Cobra one length hybrid (same loft) and this club is longer and has less tendency to hook. You can use this club as a driving option for tight courses, it can work as an approach to long par 5s, can use it hit knockdowns out of the trees and, of course, chips off the fringe. The shorter length helps with consistency and when you are chipping you don't have to grip down as much. I recommend this club to anyone who struggles with hybrids or fairway woods. The small amount of distance you would give up vs a variable length hybrid should be offset by the accuracy gains you will see. If you struggle to hit this club you may just need a few more lessons because this is about as easy as it gets at this loft.

Added 3 & 4 H. superior control, hitting longer and very comfortable.
Coming from conventional length clubs, it took me 2 rounds to dial in my swing.

I made the switch to One Length for this season and there hasn't been one regret. I'm new to the game, did my research, and figured it'd be a good time to make the switch before I got too engrained in the variable length setups. The irons (Forged Tec Black) weren't much of any adjustment at all--just started hitting the ball further and far more consistently. The hybrid has been the only challenge to tame, but after a few dedicated lessons, striking this baby pure off the fairway is the most satisfying hit in the game so far.

I've found there's a mental component to the swing I'm working to overcome. As the One Length irons made it easy to choose a loft and just swing it as you would any other iron, the aesthetics of the hybrid head on a 7-iron length was throwing me off. The club head left me wanting to move the ball forward and stand further away in my stance, which felt awkward with the shorter club length. As I've gotten more consistent with the lineup and swing, the speed of the ball off this hybrid zooms at a perfect low to mid-launch (went with the Project X Smoke Black shaft, S) and cruises straight down the fairway. I've also been using it for the 30-50 yd chip shots when it's a flat roll to the green--the weight of the head helps to keep the club face more square through the swing and gives it just enough pop to get the ball moving while staying aligned to the target. Once I master the technique of this club (knowing that any criticism of the club comes down to operator error), I'll likely grab a 21 degree on top of the 19. I definitely recommend this club as a necessary addition to any One Length setup, but I encourage you to stick with it if the initial trip to the range doesn't come with as much ease as the One Length irons adjustment.

Golf easy, my friends.

Review by Geoff - 5/14/2020

I purchased the 3 19 degree along with the full iron set. 22 handicap-laying for 6 years. 63 years old. Love the full set so far. As for the 3 hybrid. I struggled with my hybrids. Miss hit 75% of the time. I’ve only miss hit once so far. Ball flys off the head but I’m not getting consistent height yet but most times I’m using this club I’m not expecting reach the green anyway. I’m a long time Arccos user and I’m seeing 20yards further distance from my previous 3 hybrid.
Of all the one length clubs this looks the strangest to line up. It looks like a kiddie club. I could see veteran players having a hard adjustment period or rejecting on principle.
But for me it is giving me a lot more confidence.
