- The winner in my club fitting
Review by Jonathon T - 7/18/2020
I just came back from my first club fitting. I tried out the Callaway Mavrik, Taylor Made Sim Max, Ping g410, and Cobra Speedzone. Unfortunately they didn't have any Munuzo to compare them to. I came in to the fitting certain the Mavrik or Sims would be the ones coming out on top. I was so wrong. Speedzones had a better feel, sound, distance, and forgiveness. The sound and feel of the SIMS were just awful, but everything else was fine. Mavrik didn't seem consistent and the feel wasnt as pleasant as Cobra. Speedzones beat all of them in every category except spin. Mavriks had more spin by a little bit. Just ordered the combo set. Cant wait to play them on the course.
- Clubs are good grips kind of suck
Review by Eden23 - 7/12/2020
love the new clubs other than the hard plastic like grips that came in them. Grips are fine as long as you don't break a sweat
- Really nice clubs

Really nice clubs. It’s expensive clubs but if you have the money you should definitely buy them
- Great Irons
Review by Nadders - 6/21/2020
Went for a proper fitting, completely neutral on brand. As a 20 handicap tried out all the new game improvement irons from TM, Callaway, Ping, Titleist.
Much to my surprise, I've now been switched to iron shafts from graphite, with a full set from 5 to SW with the King SZ.
I've now played 3 rounds and they are ace, miles better than my old TM graphite irons.
More distance, more control, more accurate..
Cannot praise them enough.

Bought these in December. Spent the extra for graphite. Well worth it they feel great. I tried Calloway & ping. These by far fell better.
- Great clubs!

They exceeded my expectations. Great balance and feel. The gap wedge is my new go to club. They increased my distance to the point where I am playing a club higher then my previous irons. Highly recommended!
- SZ Irons
Review by Phyllip - 6/9/2020
Went for a fitting last Sunday and tried lots of shaft/club head combinations. These were not the longest for me, but they did feel the best and were only a couple yards shorter than the longest. They also were the cheapest of my top 3, so I ordered them. At first the top line of the 7 iron was a little weird, but after a few hits it was actually helping me make better contact, or at least it felt like it was. I toed a couple as well, and didn't lose much in yardage at all. I am very excited to take these to the course and I will come back and re-review after I get the irons, being built now, and play them more

Just purchased the speed zone’s
Tried them all, Callaway, Ping, TaylorMade. All performed well. Cobra gave me more ball speed and better ball flight. Feel was great, senior shaft’s outstanding for a 71 year old.
- What I needed...
Review by Reeegman - 5/28/2020
The past couple of years I have struggled with a pinched nerve in my neck that has led to my right arm not being 100%. Anyway I made the move to the Custom Speedzone irons with Recoil 480 and Smacwrap grips. The combination has given me much relief and they play excellent. I cannot be more satisifed. So for those of you who have struggled physcially and need a more forgiving but high performing combo....I highly recommend. BTW I traded in my APEX 19's...so it was tough to do.....but worth it.
- Great clubs
Review by Mikey G - 5/17/2020
These replaced a set I have had since 2011. Forgiving, easy to hit and I love the flight. At least 1 club longer lofts. Have not had any spin/rpm concerns. I tried these and immediately loved them over: Titleist T200, TM Sim, Calloway Maverick and Ping G400s.
- Best irons l ever owned
Review by Tom g - 5/16/2020
Excellent clubs. Easy to get airborne. The ball sits down softly on the green

Long on good and not so good hits. You need to buy these!
- Best driving iron in 2020.
Review by Philippe - 5/13/2020
The launch, the consistancy, the distance and surprisingly the feel, this iron has it all. Even tho I'm more of a muscle back player, the SZ 4 iron sneaked its way into my bag and trust me, it's here to stay.
- Took a few rounds but......

Fitted for F8's two years ago.. bought black forge tec one lengths. Exchanged for SZ with Nippon shafts. Took 5 rounds but shot 20 strokes lower than usual and now a believer.. great clubs and feel. Ball goes a mile with high launch. Very impressed

Bought my son a set of these irons to replace his fmax irons. He was hitting the fmax 7 iron around 150, now consistently hitting the speedzone 185-190. Not bad for a 100 lb kid. I'll be ordering me a set also.
- The best Cobra game iron so far.
Review by ETB - 4/16/2020
I just purchased my set 2 weeks ago and I am totally satisfied . Even through these clubs are stronger they still fly high. I have dialed back from my stiff shaft to a regular flex tour 90 and I am hitting the ball very straight. With this hot face I am able to swing with more tempo and accuracy. Cobra had a great club last year with the F9 but this is step above.

I got fitted for these clubs and received them last week. I have played them 4 of 5 times already and get more and more impressed. They are over the top amazing. They beat my expectation by a mile. Thank you Cobra Golf!!
- Great driving iron
Review by Philippe R - 4/6/2020
strong lofted, easy-launching, forgiving and great feeling of the face.
I bought a 4 iron with the FC90 graphite shaft and this thing is a beast..
gained 15 yards over my last driving iron and the dispersion is even tighter.. on dangerous par4 this club is definetly a go-to.
- Hard to believe
Review by Scott - 3/22/2020
I got my new SZ irons this week and had the opportunity to play with them yesterday. I knew going in the lofts were strong, but the ball flight is excellent. So longer and higher, that's good for me. I
- So Easy to Hit
Review by Jason - 3/18/2020
I was fitted into these clubs and couldn't me more happy. Yeah the lofts are strong, but who cares. If the 5 iron is lofted closer to a traditional 3 iron, but you can hit it with ease it's a win. Best part is the miss hits lose minimal distance and end up minimally off intended line. The top line on 4-7 at 1st was a bit weird but after a few swings I didn't mind and no feel it is pretty cool looking. Finally got on the course 3 times over the past 2 weeks and they are legit. They sound really good too!

Review by Jeff - 2/19/2020
Tried these tody on a simulator and was hitting the 7 iron 15-20 yards further than my Callaway Rogues. Great site line on the clubs and a sweet feel with the swing. Ordered a set after swinging them for an hour.
- Have to hit to believe
Review by Chris - 2/3/2020
Like the other reviews, I too hit the 7 iron today in the simulator. I typically hit my 7 iron around 170-175 yards. Was averaging 200 with this club. Tried the 5 iron and was hitting 230. If I’m lucky, I hit my current 5 iron 200 yards. This irons are amazing. Try them and see for yourself.

As mentioned before I tried the 7 iron and had an average of 18 yards more distance not to mention the impressive ball flight and sound and feel to die for, ordered a set in gw_6 can't wait to get them on the course
