- One length utility iron
Review by TonyC - 7/13/2019
Fantastic feeling club. I love the adjustability because I am able to set this to get the yardage I want. Worked so well that I bought all three utility irons 2/3, 3/4, 4/5. The one length makes them easier to hit the ball consistently.

I am a mid handicapper and one of my greatest flaws was the panic I had on the fairway when using my woods.
It was almost anxiety before every shot. Naturally I would slice, hook or duff my shots. Those few times where I would actually smoke my wood and hit the ball straight was all great but I just want to be more consistent and figured i would give it a try.
Utility Iron arrived today. Pretty, looking sharp and feeling like an awkward 7 Iron. Took it to the course 2 hours prior my tee time and started fiddling with my clubs on the range beforehand. At first, i was not quite sure how to position my body, how to address, how to use this thing at all.. tee up, not? Low loft.. confusing. Until i positioned the ball forward in my stance, adjusted my shoulders a little as if you hit a driver and swung my usual 7 iron swing, however as if it was a driver on a low tee and holy smokes, that thing went far. That revelation came about 7 practice balls in. The next 10 shots or so were pure joy. I could control the ball off a low tee in all ways I wanted to. Fade, draw, stinger, you name it. Its so insanely simple. I am still speechless.
When i tried it out on the course, i played two balls - my wood and the iron as a direct comparison. Not a single time did the wood win. The accuracy and ease were just out of this world. It takes literally no time getting used to and results are immediate. I have gotten home in a frenzy and have just ordered the one length 7,6 and 5 iron. I will keep my 8,9,p, and sand wedges the original length as it seems that i only struggle with anything past 7 and cant wait for them to arrive.
People at the driving range were looking at me in disbelief as it literally looks like you are swinging a 7 or 8 iron yet the distance is just crazy far. On average out of 10 shots, i hit 7 to my full satisfaction with an average distance of 200+ on every shot.
Of course there are a few negatives I would like to point out too.
1. The club whistles during your swing and before hitting the ball. Thats due to the hole for the screw to adjust the loft. Confusing at first and takes a moment to get used to.
2. Its a pretty club, its black and forged. This club needs a cover and i find, considering the price point and the quality brand, that should be a gimme by Cobra.
3. I am now curious to play with the loft options and see what works for me the most. I cant however as i dont have a tool to adjust the loft. Again, something i find Cobra should provide.
Other than that, I am impressed and cant wait for my one length irons to arrive.
- Harder to hit than expected!

I seem to hit my five iron in the one length clubs as well as the others way better than this one Length Utility club. It seems a lot heavier in the club head than the others and I am not seeming to be able to strike the ball with consistency.
Will try to adjust the angle to see if it helps

2-3 iron in 7 iron length... normally wouldn't think it would work. Cobra some how pull it off beautifully. Swing is just as easy as with my F8 One Lengths although the utility is not as forgiving as the F8 on miss hits. The feel is awesome though you get immediate feedback on strike location. The adjustable loft is great in a club like this I don't see why other manufacturers have not done it. It really helps dial in the club gapping. This has become my new favorite club to hit.

My 4-5 utility is really easy to hit especially off the tee. I have the 2-3 & 3-4 on order. I love the amt white. Changing the rest of my irons 6-lw to the whites. Good distance and so easy to hit.

Overall great club. Takes a lot of practice to get used to the length and hit flush shots but once you get the rhythm its spectacular. Plays well off the deck as well and as a punch shot club. Lots of roll and can work the ball easily right and left. Highly recommend.
- Pleasantly Impressed with 4 one utility!

Been gaming the F7 One length for about a year and really like them. However I struggled getting good flight and distance with the matching 4 iron. Last year I subbed fly-z hybrids to fill the long club needs but his year my swing changed. Now I can’t stop hooking the hybrids. Ordered the black one length 3-4 utility with recoil shaft and am impressed. (Much easier than F7 4 iron) It is so easy to hit and get good ball flight. After a few rounds I am dialing in the dispersion and am very happy with it. Hit two straight shots 165 to 170 yards last round. Will probably order the 2-3 soon. Good work Cobra! My only complaint is no stores in Midwest have these to try before buying.
- One-length Utilities are superstars

These compliment the Forged Tec Ones quite nicely. They are as long as their variable length counterparts and are easier to put a good swing on. Frustrated that the 5-utility isn’t available until June. Have the 4 set to 21.5D. Great distance for me...easy 190 yard club. Tried it at 23.5D to make it more like a 5. Shot the ball way up in the air. Cobra has it figured out. Just because the clubs are all 37.5” doesn’t mean the 4 at 23.5° will perform similarly to a 24°. Hopefully my three utility will arrive next week fo hopefully my 3 utility will arrive next.
These clubs are fantastic… Just like the Forged Tec one length irons.
- Less swing, more fairways.

Very nice club (2-3, ONE length, low-launch shaft), takes a little getting used to swing weight and feel. I bought this club specifically for hitting stingers when things are working with the driver. My tendency is to swing hard with 2-3 iron in my hand, not necessary with this club. Off the tee it is rolling out about 245 yards for me with loft set to 18 deg. After playing a few rounds with it, I wish I had ordered a mid-launch shaft instead of low. I will try changing loft to 20 degs for a little higher trajectory. The hybrid sole is really nice off the tight fairways at Dragonfly GC, hit a par 5 in 2 with it yesterday. I am considering getting the 3-4, and 5-6...I'm not all in on the one-length concept, but I think that from 6 to 3 iron, the average golfer will see improvement through this concept. With the adjustable loft on the utility irons, I can dial in the distances from 6 - 3 iron with only 3 clubs, allowing me to carry one extra wedge tournaments.
- Great Club

I played my first round of 9 Friday, and hit the 4 utility on a 178 yd par 3 and missed a hole in 1 by 8", tap in birdie. I also hit it to our toughest par 4 from 170 in the wind and hit a majestic fade to 10' didn't make that bird but par there is a victory in itself.
- Breakthrough distance with easier swing
Review by Dutchpierre - 4/13/2018
Purchased this product through the Pro at Kleiburg GolfAcademy in Brielle The Netherlands - [Derrick Ingram] and received it this week. It is fantastic as it gives the distance desired (160 m) for a four iron with the much easier swing from a 7 iron.
What is more important: almost No Mishits!!! It simply delivers. Exceeds expectations.
I am even thinking about getting a 2/3 iron and remove the 5-wood from my bag.
