  • Who It's for

Tour to 15 handicap golfers with moderate to high swing speeds seeking maximum consistency and accuracy in a ONE Length set configuration.

F8 Tec Grass Laydown
One Length Logo

Progressive tungsten sole weighting delivers matching 7-iron head weights through the set while also promoting optimal distance gapping and trajectory in a ONE Length configuration.

Steel shafts feature progressive weighting (increase in 3g increments through the set) to deliver higher launching long irons, and lower, more controlled trajectories in the short irons.

In a 7-iron configuration, clubhead weight, shaft length and swing weight all work in unison to provide preferred feel, distance and consistency from your long irons to your wedges.

Each ONE Length iron has been re-engineered to deliver optimal feel and consistency through the set. Utilizing one setup and one swing, golfers can simplify their game and swing every iron with confidence like it's their trusty 7-iron.

DBM (Diamonized Black Metal) Technology is a revolutionary surface finish that provides extreme wear resistance, reduced glare and a professional look preferred by better players. The DBM process chemically implants the black finish into the club head, increasing durability, without affecting playability, for longer lasting, better looking irons.

King Black Tec Irons Hero

A material used in applications requiring extreme wear resistance and toughness, Chromoly Steel features a higher strength-to-weight ratio, allowing the face to be forged thinner to deliver increased ball speeds.

Forged PWRShell

A lightweight medallion is constructed using carbon composite material to effectively damp vibrations at impact, resulting in a soft, yet responsive feel preferred by better players.

Carbon Fiber Insert

Progressive tungsten sole weights in the long and mid irons deliver matching 7-iron head weights, and lower and center the CG (Center of Gravity) to deliver optimal launch, trajectory and precision through the set.

Pure Beauty, Impeccable Performance
Review by OrmanWinston - 1/17/2020

I've been working my new 5-GW set out at the indoor range (MN winters), and what can I say, I never knew what I was missing before clearing my first five buckets.

These have to be the best looking irons I've ever seen--especially with the matte black recoils with smacwrap. Looks certainly don't make the player, but it definitely goes a long ways with confidence.

I'm only a couple of years into the game, so I did my research on the One Length concept and felt it was a good time to make the switch before I got too engrained in variable length. I'm not exaggerating to say there was an immediate impact as I worked through the iron set. The tech put into this line is impressive, as it's far more than just shaving off a half-inch here and there as loft increases. The WEIGHT of each club is seamless along with the length. You pick the loft given your needed distance, but from there on out, you maintain the exact swing and feel through 9 irons (I also picked up the SW/LW, but will have to save that review for Spring). If you closed your eyes, you'd never be able to know which iron you were swinging. I'm still shaving down a higher handicap, but am pumped to get back on the course as these clubs have already proven to simplify the learning curve and increase consistency throughout my iron set. I'd imagine a golfer at any point in their development could benefit from going One Length, but I would STRONGLY ENCOURAGE any newb or mid-handicapper struggling with their irons to make this switch.

Anything close to that pure iron hit leaves you with a tour pro satisfaction given the buttery feel and sophisticated sound of these forged irons. Simply enough, they sound as good as they look. The Recoil Smacwrap also dampens vibration in ways that were immediately felt compared to my prior graphite shafts. This will definitely prove its worth during the early and late phases of the MN golf season. Not necessarily related to these clubs, but putting Stiff Flex on this iron set relative to my prior Regular Flex has made an immediate impact on my performance. GET FITTED, people. No excuse not to these days as majority of golf retailers will fit you for free and Cobra will customize your clubs at no up charge.

At their currently discounted price, you get a high quality forged iron set just about guaranteed to improve the performance of any mid-to-high handicapper at the cost of mid-range irons. If you're pondering the One Length switch, ponder no more and pick 'em up.

SIDE NOTE: Completed the set with the One Length adjustable loft utility iron (4), One Length SPEEDZONE Hybrid (3), SPEEDZONE Fairway (3), and SPEEDZONE Extreme Tour Length (which I customized to 43.5" shaft length with customized weight to account for the differential). Aching to get these out to the range when they ship in the coming weeks.

Definitely easier for the long
Review by Stan - 11/20/2019

Got these club recently ,played 4 rounds w them. The Long irons are definitely easier to handle not to mention it goes 10meters further than my mizuno forged. The ball spin is higher with the short irons hence better biting on green - it’s drastic for me as I never managed to stop-ball with my mizuno clubs

Just received my new irons
Review by Tom - 8/31/2019

I haven’t played with my new Forged Tec one lengths yet, but tried them on the range before taking them away. I am 6ft 6in and had the whole set lengthend by 1” 1/2 (inch and a half) with +2 degrees upright, I naturally hit a fade but these make me hit a lovely slight draw. Can not wait to play with these tomorrow.

The one length idea makes so much sense!!!

I will let you know how I get on after a few more rounds. First impressions are amazing!!!

Believe the hype...
Review by Dr. J - 8/2/2019

I play to a nine handicap but could never get it lower due to 2 or 3 iron mishits per round. Decided to go with one length irons to allow for one setup and one swing in an attempt to reduce these variables. After having played variable length irons for over 30 years I would never go back. These irons not only look great, but they feel soft off the face with more forgiveness than my previous ap1 irons. I am at least one club longer overall and the ball flight has not changed at all. Highly recommended.

Fantastic, unbelievable, amazing
Review by Bradley H. - 4/21/2019

This winter I started reading other people’s stories about switching to one length , and found that the folks who really saw improvement in their games from theese Irons had games like mine . I am currently a 12.63 index, so I have had good rounds and bad ones , I have always had to rely on chipping and putting to save pars , my first round out today with my cobra tec black one lengths kept my 60 degree wedge in the bag most of the morning, , I had 4 birdies , 7 pars , 2 double bogeys ( Missed with the driver, both on par fives ) and five bogeys for a 77 on a difficult course . 3 of those bogeys were 3 puts , this is going to be a game changer for me... once I found my ball positon in my stance on the practice range , I started stripping everything within yards of each other I’m chomping at the bit to get back out hands down the most enjoyable round I have ever played . My Club fitter Ian At PGA tour super store in Minnesota is amazing, and great at what he does, so grateful he helped me in this endeavor and looking forward to a great future with cobras one length black !!!!!!

At 59 years young, just shot the best round of my life!
Review by Alan at Ptarmigan - 3/29/2019

I purchased these clubs last July and did not get to play too many rounds with them. Hit the "long" or low irons better than ever. Just played my first round this year and shot a 77! I have an index of 13.9 and have only shot in the 70's one other time. Took me a bit to swing my 8-9-W-G the same way as a 7 iron, but thrilled with the way I hit them now. I highly recommend these clubs - will never go back. Best golf purchase of my life! Thanks to Adam at Cobra for telling me about them. Big fan of Bryson as well.

No Brainer
Review by Chris - 2/20/2019

Guys and Gals,
I’m a 3-6 handicap with a couple of local individual titles on my resume.
I don’t have a driving range nor practice area.
I put these in the bag because I wanted consistency.
I have a 5-PW in my bag, with a 4 on order.
I am thinking about buying another set just in case something happens to one of them.
Flush, flush, flush.
The AV shaft Stiff is perfect, even though I played Flighted 6.5’s for 10 years.
In sum, these irons are BETTER than the hype.

Loving One-Length
Review by Foghorn - 11/8/2018

Took me 6 rounds to commit mentally to the longer short irons but once I adjusted consistency followed and scores are coming down. Great feel and weighting.

Review by QUESTION - 10/20/2018

Why are the Lie angles different on the specs if all of these are one legnth? does anyone know the answer to this?

Excellent irons
Review by PHILM - 9/21/2018

Tried single length irons from another maker about six years ago. They were Ok. However now Cobra have made a great leap forward in single length and these Forged Tec irons are superb. The stronger lofts are a bit flattering but its does feel good to hit some #4 irons close to the length that I did in my younger days. They feel pretty good for a game improvement type of club and look great in the black finish. Very quickly became my favourite irons.

Review by mjkladis - 8/16/2018

I absolutely love these irons! They took some getting used to (a couple rounds) but after that, it's very hard to imagine going back to a variable length set! Along with Cobra Connect, I think I will be a Cobra guy for a very very long time.

Terrific Irons
Review by GingerGolfer - 8/16/2018

Recently got fit for the Forged Tec Black irons, which was incredibly enlightening on my previous iron ball dispersion in and of itself. Recently got these irons, and all I can say is what an incredible difference there is in how I attack a green. Previously, I was 60% fairways, but only 33% GIRs. Part of that was the player, part might have been my previous irons.

These irons go STRAIGHT. They are about 5-10 yards further on carry, and they stick. Through two weeks of play, I'm now around 60% GIR, and feel incredibly confident at address that I'll be in a good position with a solid swing. Plus, they are simply a beautiful set of irons.

Also, the Arccos system has been really fun to leverage as well. Excited to see how this tracks my progress for the future. Heading to the golf course is pretty fun these days!

Better, Smarter, & FAster
Review by Bama Cromley Roll Tide!!! - 8/4/2018

These clubs are not only gorgeous but the Cobra Connect technology that is included with these clubs is incredible. With the Cobra Connect you get a Range Finder, Launch Monitor, and honestly a caddie built it to these gorgeous long hitting clubs. It is simple to set up and will only improve your game. Not only do the clubs have the Cobra Connect but they come with an extra 7 to put on your other clubs. Besides not practicing... you have NO excuse to not improve your game as these clubs give you everything that you need. With these clubs you will play Better, Smarter, & Faster. Roll Tide!!!!!!!

Review by Izzard - 7/22/2018

I'd be really interested if you get the 5 degree gap through the set:

Gw Pw 9i 8i 7i stay same, then 5i head with 25 loft, and 3i head with 20 loft. (5i and 3i have more weight added at bottom than 6i and 4i right?)

This way could have more hybrids in the bags ...

One Length Works Well
Review by RJ - 7/12/2018

I've had my iron set for a few weeks now and I have been very pleased with them. All the irons go straight and far. I really like the one length concept for the long irons. The only club I'm having to get used to using the one length shaft is the pitching wedge. I also tried the jumbo max grips on them and am very pleased with them. I recently switched my other clubs to them and haven't regretted it. Would definitely recommend trying the one length and if you have larger hands giving the jumbo max grips a try too.

Great club!
Review by Eman - 6/28/2018

Great driving iron. The sweet spot is so very nice and springy. I couldn’t be happier with how it performs even off the mishits. Very satisfied! Thank you

The easiest solution ever
Review by Lars Kjærgaard Stenberg - 6/19/2018

I have had my irons and wedges for 2 months now, and what a difference they have made to my game and my swing. Setting up to the ball have never been easier, and my overall accuracy have improved. I am now looking forward to see what the future will bring regarding the fairway woods. Thanks Cobra for getting onelength on the market

Forge Tec Black
Review by Miket - 6/7/2018

I played with a set of the ForgedTec irons with the Recoil 780 stiff shafts and loved them. I am 67 years old with moderate back problems. The balance and the feel is one of Cobra best club that I have played. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a new set of irons to give these a serious consideration.

LOVE these irons!!!
Review by Jim R - 5/26/2018

Forged irons have come a LOOOOOONG way, as is evidenced by these! They're by far the easiest to hit forging I've ever swung. Solid feel at impact, great at shaping shots, easy to hit and great looking too. Do yourself a favor and order this up!!! You won't regret it!!

Best of both worlds
Review by RJ - 5/24/2018

Switched to F7 one lengths last year, but gave up the feel of forged irons. These irons give me the workability of forged irons of the past, with the consistency I've come to love in the one length concept. Best upgrade I've ever made!

These clubs make golf easy for anyone
Review by Steve - 5/21/2018

After hitting 5 different top of the line irons, I made the decision to pick these. Best decision I've ever made. I'm about a 3-4 handicap so I had decent ball striking before but not very consistent with long irons. I've hit my Been Hogan Apex Plus blades for over 10 years and love em but I hit these with more consistency, better dispertion and a little farther. The gapping is perfect. I got the KBS $ taper black shafts and they look sick. I get compliments all the time and even convinced 3 of my buddy's to get em. Couldn't be happier with my selection!

Review by natgolfpro - 5/8/2018

These are buttery smooth. Much more consistent results and what else can ya say about the black heads except pure beauties. I installed the JumboMax grip and love them more than any iron I've ever played

great feeling irons
Review by Lewy - 5/3/2018

Hit the Forged Tech One Lengths at local Demo Day. I have never been able to hit low to mid irons like I did with the one lengths! Great ball flight, consistency and the shots felt so pure. I am ordering mine tomorrow!!!

Review by John - 4/21/2018

Played forged most my life ( 70 ) got away from them almost didn't hit them demo my pro Stephanie Reeves ( CountrySide Naples Fl ) John give them a try Demo man said stiff, regular or senior I said what ever he gave me lite every shot was pure 15 yards further confermed on course after I received them. Post ok

First Forged clubs
Review by Homer - 4/15/2018

I like the idea of a simplified set of irons, easy set up, easy to hit great distance control. Best to have these clubs fitted so you know what your distances are, loft angles, lie angles, optimal launch conditions.
I got fitted for my cobras in cannot wait to play my first round with them as the fitting showed me great consistency and improvement with my distance as well as spin rates I am very impressed with these irons
