Geoff has some new Cobra MB Pro (prototype) irons in the bag. They are so sweet!!!

Geoff shows the touch he used to win the 2006 US Open. Very similar to his up and down on the 72 hole at Winged Foot.

I would recommend trying both the Speed Pro S and D.  What you’ll find is your trajectory with the Speed Pro S will be a little higher do to the Shallow (S) face and extended profile.

Why would a +2 pick between the Speed Pro S vs. D?

Geoff’s new Cobra MB Pro (prototype) irons are custom designed for the tour players.

I have seen many forum posts and blogs that love the look of the the MB’s.  With Geoff winning and a major champion it seems natural to sell the clubs.  Maybe in limited numbers but their is no doubt that it would be a hot club.  I hope that Cobra re considers.

I’d buy those irons in a second.  A shame they’ll probably never hit the shelves.

Those blades look great but Geoffs older Cobra Prototype blades looked better.

Are these an original forging or are they a variation on a Titleist forging like the 660’s?

While a couple of our tour players are currently testing the Cobra prototype MB iron, we do not have any immediate/near term plans to launch this product.

We currently offer two products in our line designed for more skilled players; Carbon CB and Forged CB (Villegas, Holmes, and Na).

Is Ogilvy the only player playing the new MB irons? Will they be available to consumers someday?
