Ian Poulter Wins Accenture WGC Match Play
Cobra Brand Ambassador Ian Poulter captured his second win with new ZL driver and the biggest victory of his career, defeating Paul Casey, 4 and 2, in an all-England final at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship. Along with winning his first World Golf Championship, the 34-year-old Poulter won for the first time on American soil. Poulter was so dominant on the weekend that he trailed for only one hole over the final 50 holes of the tournament.

Tim,
We see your email address is from Australia… Apologies. Some of the international sites have not yet updated their pages with the latest accessories and products. The US site is the most up to date so for now you may want to take a look there until the Australian team can update their site.
By the way, if you ARE looking at the US website and still seeing the old headwear, that may mean you have the old graphics stuck in your browser cache. You will need to clear your cache to see the new graphics (which will be explained in the Help menu of your browser).
Tim
Cobra Golf I’m not sure whats going on with the headwear section when I click on it I still get the ProV1 and FJ logos on temples, S9-1 logo on bill. Not like what Camilo has been wearing of late?
If you can let us know
Cobra Golf
Sergio,
1. You might want to try some of the major online golf retailers - sometimes their inventory is larger than the smaller, local shops.
2. JB Holmes has a Cobra S2 Forged 3 iron in the bag. It allows him to work the ball, yet offers very good forgiveness (which is nice to have in the long irons.)
Right now, all our Tour players are playing extremely well so they are reluctant to make any big changes to their set composition. However, although we can not say if or when a Tour player will put new equipment in the bag, we CAN say they are constantly trying out new gear.
Sergio
Congrats to Ian and Camillo for their great play at the Match Play event. Right now I’m excited to see Camillo atop the leader board in the Honda Classic…hopefully he can close it out and get his third PGA Tour victory!
I recently purchased the Cobra S2 Forged irons, which I LOVE. I’ve got two questions about the S2 line for you:
1) I’ve called up every store (within 60 miles of me) that is listed on your site as an authorized dealer. Unfortunately NOT ONE location offers this hat and so far nobody has even been willing to order them for me. I’ve even contact Golf Galaxy and Golfsmith and both said they just “get in what they get in,” but I couldn’t request a specific hat. Any thoughts as to how I could obtain a couple?
2) Are any Tour players currently using (or at least trying out) the S2 Forged Irons? Any in play? Are any players considering using them in the future?
THANKS and keep up the great work!
Cobra Golf
Hi Mike,
Although we do offer hats and accessories that include branding of our core driver product (the S2 Driver), unfortunately at this time we don’t offer headwear with the ZL. We keep our headwear line simple, as our main focus is to design and engineer the best golf equipment we can to for Cobra loyalists like yourself.
And although we can understand your desire for a ZL hat, just remember that blowing your drives past everyone else often allows the driver to quietly speak for itself. Go get ‘em!
Mike
Why has Cobra chosen to sale me a driver with ZL on it but not a hat? When im out on the range blowing it by everyone, shouldnt it be easy for other players to see the ZL is what Im hitting?
Cobra Golf
Apologies! Your comment made us realize that we had not updated the website with the new headwear. If you look now, you will see the new caps and visors with the Cobra S2 logo. Those are what are in stores in 2010.
Nick Lowe
Congratulations to Ian and also to Camilo on his third place. I saw the link for the tour caps but I was just wondering about the caps Camilo was wearing with the “S2” on the side. They were different from the ones in the link and looked very nice. I was wondering if they are available for purchase or will be anytime in the future. Thanks
Cobra Golf
Sorry Mike – although you can buy the same caps and visors that our Tour pros wear, the caps with the ZL emblem were made exclusively for the Tour pros and are not available in stores. Though it should be noted that the Tour caps you can buy have the Cobra S2 logo on them, which you can see here.

How can I go about finding the zl logo hats and visors?
