Cobra Players Anna Nordqvist, Lexi Thompson and Lee-Anne Pace Get into Gear for US Women’s Open
Cobra Golf has three ladies representing the Black & Yellow this week in the US Women's Open in Colorado Springs. Anna Nordqvist, Lexi Thompson and Lee-Anne Pace each hail from a different country (Sweden, US and South Africa), but have all found a love for the game of golf.
The Boradmoor East Course is set up at 7,047 yards, making it the longest course in US Women's Open history. Play was suspended during the first round due to weather, but the ladies have teed off again this morning to finish up round 1 and get started on round 2!
Anna is playing her S3 Driver, S3 Fairway, Baffler Rail 3/H and her S2 Forged irons this week as she fights it out at the US Women's Open. Lexi Thompson is using her favorite S2 Driver, S3 3Wood, Baffler 2H and S2 Forged Irons and Lee-Anne is playing her S3 Driver, S3 3Wood, S3 5Wood, Baffler Rail 4/H and S3 Pro Irons.
The ladies each put their favorite Cobra clubs into a new Cobra Staff Tour Bag this week. They are red, blue & white - each embroidered with her name and the PUMA Project Pink ribbon. Project Pink is an initiative PUMA started last year to raise awareness and money for the fight against breast cancer. PUMA athletes help raise awareness by wearing all pink gear with Project Pink logos. Fans can nominate their favorite breast cancer charity and in the fall, fans vote to determine which of the nominated charities will receive 100% of the proceeds from PUMA's Project Pink product sales and the money generated from the #projectpink Twitter campaign.
