Cobra Golf
The ZL is loaded with great features that build on the technology of the LD series. With advanced multi-material construction and Adjustable Flight Technology (AFT), the Cobra ZL represents the next generation in Cobra drivers. A carbon fiber crown and sole, titanium face and body, along with a swingweight screw provide optimal center of gravity and MOI. Also, three face angle settings (open, neutral, and closed) allow you to find one setting that optimizes ball flight for increased distance and accuracy. The Cobra ZL driver is available in 8.5*(RH only), 9.5*, 10.5*, and 11.5*(RH only).

I have totally LOVED all of my Cobra clubs. Will there be a draw bias or offset in the new ZL? I am a senior golfer and still rely on my offset.

I am still using the speed ld 12 degree and like it. What will the benifits be of the ZL? Will it be available in 11 or 12 degree??
Cobra Golf
Unfortunately, the adjustable hosel mechanism of the L5V has two settings, where the ZL will have three. Therefore, you would not be able to just interchange the heads. However, you could certainly have the shaft of your L5V removed from the adjustable hosel mechanism and inserted into the hosel mechanism of the ZL. It would take a little work but is certainly possible.

I love my L5V driver. will the shaft be compatible with ZL head?

Jim,
Although the ZL represents the best driver Cobra has ever produced, we recommend you take your current driver to a fitter and test it on a launch monitor against the Cobra ZL - the results will show the best driver for your game. As an aside, both JB Holmes and Geoff Ogilvy have been testing the ZL and it’s possible we will see them hitting it in a tournament shortly.

Looks liek a new Dual-Weighting system for the ZL? If so, I like it!!!
Cobra Golf
Although there will not be a stock ZL driver specifically for women, there will be shaft and grip customization available to accommodate a wide range of players, both male and female.
