King Cobra HS9 F/ST 9 degree (Right Handed models only)
Conformance Test
In an effort to reinforce the highest design standards for the Cobra Golf brand and our products, effective May 14, 2007 we will implement a voluntary product conformance test for our King Cobra HS9 F/ST 9 degree drivers (right handed models only).
Cobra Golf has determined that, due to a variance in our manufacturing process, a limited number of HS9 F/ST 9 degree drivers may not conform to the Characteristic Time test standard established by the USGA. Please note that only the HS9 F/ST 9 degree models (right handed models only) are at issue. All other HS9 models and lofts, as well as all lofts of the new Speed LD/Pro products, have been tested and determined to conform to USGA specifications.
As a direct result of this determination, Cobra Golf will initiate the following actions plans to address any questions or concerns relative to the product conformance.
Consumers who purchased HS9 F/ST 9 degree drivers should return these products to our Carlsbad manufacturing facility for conformance testing. The return procedure may be initiated by calling Cobra Golf at 1-877-464-3478 to speak directly to a customer service representative. Returns will be inspected and tested for Characteristic Time conformance. Those determined to conform to USGA regulations will be marked conforming via a digitized hosel stamp, and shipped via 2-day air at our expense back to you. If any returns fall outside of USGA conformance parameters, Cobra Golf will retain those drivers and will send conforming replacement HS9 F Speed 9 degree drivers to the affected consumers. We expect that this testing and return process will take 7 to 10 days. The opportunity to participate in the consumer conformance testing program will open on May 14, 2007 and close on June 30, 2007.
Please Note if you have made any shaft adjustments or customizations to the King Cobra HS9 driver you originally purchased please inform Cobra Golf when you call so we can match your specs with the new conforming driver.

This testing program applies only to King Cobra HS9 F/ST 9 degree purchasers who call Cobra Golf at 1-877-464-3478 from May 14, 2007 through June 30, 2007. This program does not apply to any other HS9 models or lofts or the King Cobra Speed LD or King Cobra Speed Pro drivers.
