Cobra S3 Max Irons

I took four years off from playing a round.  Occasionally, I would hit the range in that span of time, but was so frustrated with my Nike Slingshot irons.  Last year, I decided that I was going to dedicate myself to the game again.  I went to my local Golfsmith, explained my situation/game and was fitted for the S3 Max.  Let me tell you, since I made the switch, my love for the game has skyrocketed.  These clubs really do help with mishits because I have my fair share of them, but now I have consistent ball flight and pattern.  And in terms of the distance…well, I hit these really long.  Furthermore, they are a great looking club, aesthetically pleasing to the eye.  Plus, the railed sole helps to cut the grass when you find yourself in the rough.  Overall, a great club at a great value that helped me further my game.  I am looking forward to Cobra becoming a leader in the golf world once again.  On a side note, smart move for adding Rickie Fowler!

Just coming back into the game after a 10-year layoff, found my old Hogan blades just weren’t doing it anymore. Picked up a used set of Cobra 3100 irons and loved them. Then, for my 60th birthday, my wife surprised me with a set of S3 Max irons (5-SW) that I’d been checking out in a local retailer. These clubs have injected new life into my game. I’m hitting the ball as far, if not longer, as I did in my prime playing days. Recently added the Cobra Baffler 4-hybrid. Another outstanding piece of equipment. Next up? A set of Cobra S3 Max irons for my wife.

As a high handicapper playing once or twice a week, shooting in the mid to high 90’s and a recent retiree at 65, I thought I could use a new set of irons. I have been using a generic set of cavity-back irons for the past 10 years and decided to try some of the new technology. I bought a Senior set of S3 Max Cobra irons and they have made an amazing improvement to my game. After only a dozen rounds, these clubs have taken 5 to 6 strokes off my score. They hit longer and straighter than my old set and all the demo clubs that I tried before buying the S3 Max irons. I would highly recommend these clubs to anyone trying to improve their game.

I was having trouble hitting my set of X-22 irons I purchased last year, I hit a lot of hooks and low shots. I tried a friends SZ irons a few times and found them easier for me to hit. Our club had a set of S9 II irons in the used club bin I tried the six iron on the course and on the range and it was sweet! In June we had a Cobra demo day and after some questions and ALOT of range balls I got fitted for the S3 Max 4-GW. Been playing them since the last week in June & they are definitely the right clubs for me, Straighter, higher and longer I like. Great irons Cobra!

Just received my 4-G irons and I love them!  I had been playing a low cost off the shelf brand for years.  I was looking at Callaway and Taylor Made when I happened to go into Golfmart ABQ during a Cobra Demo day .... after a number of swings and a lot of questions, I got fitted for these clubs and ordered them.  just got them this week and already my ball contact, distance and ball flight are much improved!

Got fitted for these clubs after going to a demo day recently. Great feel, not too hard on the eyes, great weight ( I was fitted for stiff graphite shafts). They are currently on order. Cannot wait to get them!! Thanks again Cobra for in my opinion the BEST clubs out there today!!

Just Purchased S3 Max Iron Set and it feels great. I hit the ball straighter and higher!!!!

I just purchased S3MAX irons and so far so good.  The wedges go farther than my PIngs.  Guess I need a lob wedge.

I was hitting the S3 max up to 25 yards farther than the wilson Di11 irons. Love the ball flight too!  cobra rocks
