Cobra S3 Fairway
A larger and hotter face with oversize profile increases the Sweet Zone® to promote superior distance and accuracy when hitting from the fairway.
"We know golfers want more distance and accuracy from the fairway, so we designed the S3 Fairway to accomplish this through both a larger face and a face profile that is lower in the heel and toe, which in turn lowers the CG."

I cracked the face of my Cobra S9-1 Pro 3-wood, which was a GREAT club, and it had to be replaced with the new S3 (since the guys wouldn’t give me whatever JB and the boys actually use). I really didn’t want to like this club, but it’s in my bag now for a few reasons. I hit my driver around 285 yards, so I usually end up teeing off with my 3-wood five or six times per round. I may hit one 3-wood from the fairway, but it’s mostly a tee club when I need something in the fairway. This club is super-easy to hit. Pop-ups never cross my mind, and with my Matrix X-stiff the trajectory is very flat and controllable. I can’t work the ball like I could with my Pro 3-wood, and the Pro was better from questionable lies… but I’m miffed when I hit this thing into the first cut of rough. It wants to go straight (and around 255 yards for me), and I feel like apologizing when I miss the fairway with it. Well done guys… you’ve converted me.

I traded in my Titleist 3 wood for this club. I can hit this club so much more consistently than anything else I tried. It has made me a terror in my club’s match play events.
