About Jonas Blixt
Swedish–born Jonas Blixt, 26, has played on the Nationwide Tour since 2009 with several top 10 finishes. Blixt attended Florida State University where he was a 2-time NCAA All-American and 4-time ACC Academic All-American. Known for his impressive short game, Blixt heads to the 2011 Nationwide Tour with full-time status after strong earnings in 2010. As a Cobra Golf ambassador, Blixt will play Cobra clubs for all of his events.
Off the course, Jonas enjoys watching ice-hockey and vacationing in Italy. His favorite teams are Florida State, the Detroit Red Wings, and Farjestad, a Swedish pro hockey team. In his spare time he also enjoys catching up on episodes of “Entourage”, his favorite TV show.
