Rating Just bought the Amp Combo irons and have played three rounds with them. I bought them because I have been so pleased with the Amp driver and 3 wood. I am still getting use to the flight of the irons (I went from regular shaft to stiff and am seeing a bigger draw and lower trajectory) As of now I have picked up about 5 to 7 yards over my burner irons and expect that will improve as I get use to the flight. I was a little concerned about the hybrids based on what I read from a few of the raters on this web site but I have found them to be just as long and precise as the Cobra Bafflers I have been hitting for years. All in all, the Amp family seems to be the real deal and is putting Cobra back up there with the big boys. I would highly recommend these clubs.

Rating I just recieved these clubs as a gift from my daughter and WOW! I love these clubs. I have only been golfing for about 4 years and my previous set were King Cobra Seniors. I have taken 15 strokes off my game already and my friends cant beat me now. The hybrids are fantastic, I don't know why others are not as happy? I am hitting pretty good down the middle at almost 200 yards with the #3. I used to play with Nike balls but now prefer the Calloway or Top Flite with these clubs.

Rating 4.75 rating on the irons. ***1.5 on the hybrids*** I have an awful time addressing the ball because the head and face color are the same(silver on silver). I have 2 T*****Made(RBz)woods and I know how helpful it is to have a contrasting face to clubhead color difference. I should have purchased the amp set with the 3 and 4 irons instead of the set with the 3/4 hybrids. On the bright side, the Cobra Irons with graphite shafts are quite possibly the best deal out there. Certainly the best irons I've ever owned. I liked them so much I special ordered the GW and LW to complete my set.

Rating I wanted to love this combo but it really did not work for me. So much that I gave them away to a kids camp. I was really frustrated. I am an inspiring professional and maybe after reading more reviews I should have tried them longer. Hit'em straight.

Rating I have just started using these clubs. I hit them well right out of the box. Good weight and I finally got me spin back on the greens. These have been the best clubs I've owned. I know my handicap will be coming down soon.

Rating I hate to leave two reveiws but after hours of frustration I have to. I had taken a demo 7 iron and loved the results. I couldnt take a hybrid home but was able to hit one in the store and to me it felt like the same results. Well i was wrong. I get nothing but a very low ball flight with and awful hook. I tried this club on all settings at the range and on the course. I even had my grandfather hit the 3 hybrid and he got the same awful hook. It is extremely dissapointing when you make this kind of investment and cant use either hybrid. 5 thru pitching wedge are fantastic but I have never hit any brand hybrid with these results. I understand it may be me but I have owned three different brand hybrids and never had such bad luck. =(( *** Hello J-rod22z, We are sorry the hybrid is not working for you and we would like to better understand your situation. We will get in touch. - Your friends at COBRA Golf

Rating I have just recently picked the game back up; and after playing Cobra II's before, I thought would give Cobra the nod again. After finding out that the S3's were out of production, I decided to go with the AMP's. I have played about 5 rounds with them now and am finally getting use to the irons. They feel wonderful on impact, and after making a change in my swing, I finally quit hitting them on the toe and got most of my distance back. I am up in the air on the hybrids. I have hit them relatively well off the tee box, but haven't had that same success off the ground. They also don't offer a ton of feedback on contact, as a well-struck or poor-struck shot feels similar to hitting a baseball with a 1980's aluminum bat. Overall, I am greatly satisfied with my purchase. Hopefully, I will get used to the hybrids before I start playing longer course where I will need to him them.

Rating Owened S9 and S3. Both with Baffler hybrids. They were pretty good. Made me a Cobra FAN. Now have Amp irons with hybrids. Irons are fantastic. Hybrids are the worst club I ever tried to swing. Pick up a 2x6 and swing it. You'll get the same feel. Regular shaft with mid-point loft. I don't think so. Cannot get then 5 feet off the ground. Going back to look for my old bafflers if they still have them. *** Hello BG, We're happy to hear that the AMP irons are working for you but we'd like to learn more about your experience with the AMP Hybrids. We'll get in touch with you directly. Regards, -Your friends at COBRA Golf

Rating I must say what made me look twice was the orange grip. I headed to the range with my current mizuno 7 and the amp demo 7. I took one practice swing and then set up to the ball and took a smooth swing. 190 yards and right down the middle! Was this real? Again and again i took swings watching the ball fly as far as my current five iron! I hit two inches behing the ball on one awful swing (I was looking before i hit the ball out of excitement)and still flew it 150. I also could work the ball a fair amount without too much effort. You need to try these! I am amazed and will now try the rest of the amp line when i upgrade my woods and driver. I ordered a combo set the same day. Im not a great long iron player so i hit the amp hybrid at the pro shop as well and had the same great results

Rating HANDS DOWN one of the best sets I have ever owned! I was playing Adams CB2 irons and TM burner 2.0 hybrids. They didn't play bad, but I wanted something that gave me more pop of the face, these clubs didn't disappoint. I have gained a club , club half distance per each iron and the hybrids were just plain smooth and fast off the face, I was hitting my taylormades well. but I'm hitting these even better!!! Thanks Cobra for such a great set!!!!

Rating The second I saw these irons I knew I had to have them. Being a Cobra man from the start I was impressed with the look and feel of the clubs when I finally got them. What can I say. I took the pitching wedge about 130 yards for a hole in one. I'm hooked. I also got the Amp driver and woods and with the 2 new 57 and 53 degree trusty rusty wedges I am in heaven. Thanks Cobra for an excellent set of clubs.
